Where is CORA Speedway?
CORA Speedway at Argyll Park on the Campbell Ranch Property is located on highway 113 between highway 80 (at Dixon) and highway 12 just out of Fairfield. See the map page.

Back to TopWhat is the purpose of the Beginner Box Stock Class?
This class is designed as a learning class, with the intent of teaching young drivers: • Race track etiquette • Track Rules • Race format and Flag expectations • Allow the development of basic racing skills in a safe environment To promote the class intent the Beginner Box Stock class has become a NO Points / NO Payout class. All Beginner Box participants will get an award ( some form of trophy / plaque / medallion) at the end of every race. When Drivers (and their parents) have accomplished the goals of this class, they can then move to a competitive racing class and start participating for points and payouts.
Back to TopWhy do I have to become a member?
CORA is a non-profit membership organization. To promote membership in CORA the membership fees are $125.00. Any racer can race at CORA Speedway without becoming a member, however, will not be entitled to the Championship Points for the season. Membership entitles driver to compete in all series championship point races throughout 2007 race season. Participation in the decision making process for the CORA organization and CORA Speedway and grant eligibility to run for Board positions. Non-Drivers can also become a member for the same fee as drivers.
